Any student enrolled in Bangladesh, from Class 1 through university. The competition runs separate segment sets for primary, secondary, higher secondary, polytechnic and university levels, so you only ever compete against your own class group.

No. Registration, all rounds, the free courses and the learning material are free. ICTOB is funded by partners and sponsors so that cost is never the reason a student sits out.

Create an account on the sign-up page, confirm your email, then complete the contestant profile with your class, institution and district. Registration opens in September each year and the announcement is posted on the homepage and our social channels.

Fifteen topics, from Basic Concepts of ICT and Computer Hardware & Software through to Artificial Intelligence, Robotics & Machine Learning, Blockchain and Quantum Computing. Younger class groups sit a smaller subset; senior groups sit the full set. The full mapping is on the syllabus page.

Registration, then an online preliminary round, a district round, a divisional round and finally the national final. Each round is scored independently and you are told your standing before the next one begins.

Not for the preliminary round — a smartphone is enough. For the later rounds we arrange computer labs at the host venues. If you have no device at all, contact us and we will connect you with the nearest mentor who can help.

Questions are set in both Bangla and English, and you may answer in either. The free courses are taught in Bangla with English technical terms kept intact so the vocabulary matches the exam.

Yes, and it is the fastest route in. A teacher can register as an institutional mentor, then enrol their students under the school. Schools that register groups also get priority for on-campus workshops.

Medals, crests, certificates and a place on the published winners list for the top three in every segment and class group. Senior winners also get internship referrals and mentorship introductions through our industry partners.

Every certificate carries an ID in the bottom-right corner. Enter it on the verify certificate page and the record is looked up against our register.
